On Saturday night, Amanda Dolan unveiled her latest exhibit, “Heart Attack,” at the Ward Nasse Gallery on Prince Street in SoHo. A huge success: the bright, extremely positive, and surprisingly affordable exhibit came as a welcome addition to the doom and gloom that has been a media focus thus far in 2009. Boasting 55 pieces in full, a third of the paintings were snatched up on opening night, with the rest still available as they display through the remainder of March.

Among the crowd were some of AMP3’s favorite party goers including, but not limited to: Tia Walker (The Quest for “it”), Kwame Jackson (The Apprentice), Jessica Caban (Actress/Model), Seth Levine (Hell’s Kitchen), Ji Cha (Hell’s Kitchen), Sylvia Heisel (Fashion Designer), Adrien Field (Garcon Magazine), Georg Szalai (The Hollywood Reporter), Troy McClain (The Apprentice), Ian Bone (Washington Style Reporter), Jon Weber (The Orion Experience), Chris Confessore (Guest of A Guest), Sabrina Chapman (Scallywag and Vagabond), Joe Ciarallo (PR Newser), Matt Caldecutt (NY Convergence), Lisa Lacy (Writer and New York’s favorite pie creator), and Andrew Graham (Copywriter for Green Target).

In true Amanda-style, hot pink cupcakes from Sugar Sweet Sunshine Bakery on Rivington Street in the LES were served along with red & white wine and sparkling water. Never a disappointment, Amanda’s outfit was equally as eye-catching as her artwork: hair by Patricia Field, outfit by Norma Kamali, and ballet flats by Marc Jacobs.
